Yorkshire Veterans’ Athletics Association (YVAA)
The YVAA promotes athletics events for veteran athletes across Track & Field, Road, Multi-terrain, Cross Country, and Fell running. Each year they organise a Grand Prix series of up to 10 multi-terrain races of approximately 10k, plus Road, Cross Country and Fell Championships. Events are open to women and men aged 35+ who are members of England Athletics affiliated clubs within Yorkshire. Runners aged 33–34 may participate as guests.
Ackworth Road Runners are an affiliated club, so all eligible members can take part. The club affiliation fee is £20 for 2026, with individual race entry at £6.75 (or register and pre-enter for a discounted rate). Full details at www.yvaa.org.
